Should I be writing this blog post? Well, no… Am I doing it anyway? Yes. Why? Because this morning my brain feels clogged with ideas from past, present and future and I just need to get something down otherwise I’ll never get a start on my *actual* plans. It’s rather ironic really, because there is a high chance this idea will end up in the same place as everything else – another paragraph in my history of incomplete, abandoned and forgotten projects. This is not to mean that I have never finished a project… it’s just the majority. I call myself a classic 90 percenter. I like this term, even though I don’t believe it’s an offical title… nor a genuine classic, but I feel it should be an acknowledged character trait because surely there are more of us out there.
Let’s be clear though, this is not the place that neglected ideas come to die – that is far too disheartening. I have hope that one day, in turn, they each will call me back and I will make a little more progress. It’s an unlikely prospect, particularly considering the rapidity and ceaseless ideas that spring to mind over a single month, but never say never. I should probably pop a disclaimer here noting that numerous ideas, doesn’t guarantee ‘quality ideas’ – so don’t get too excited, I am not some undiscovered genius. This I can guarantee.
Perhaps the sharing of these projects will just add a little glory to their extinguished flame?
